Saint George's Virtual Cafe
So what is Saint George's Virtual Cafe all about, we decided due to age, and health to turn the storefront Cafe that we owned and operated for the past five years in dowtown Milford into a site where we will offer many of the favorites on line. Coffee by the pound in whole bean or ground format will be available. We will be selling our DaVinci flavored syrups so you can make your coffee at home just the way you like without the additional time or expense of high priced coffee houses. Our gift line will include our humourous retro gift towels, hot pad and towel gifts plus other items that catch our eye that we know you will want for those special events in your life.. Prepacked gluten free products will be available, as will special orders for Italian rolls, loaves of bread, brownies, chocolate chip cookies & macaroons. We also have found a line of breads that are organic, vegan & low glycemic check these out under Vegan. We will be updating and adding to our offerings weekly so check out the Gift Item tab to see what is new.
We are also looking into having special events like a cookie baking party for the holidays for moms, children and grandchildren. We will share the cookies we've made and have lots of fun in the process. We are also looking into having a breakfast club once a month, so as things develop stay in touch and we will share here, on facebook and twitter.
We are also going to have our blog site - in development - connect from here. The blog will share recipes, be giving a look at what it is like to own and operate an independent cafe in a small Midwestern town and the interesting expectations, rules and regulations of the State of Michigan and Oakland County specific..
We look forward to hearing from you about the recipes and menu ideas we share for families, singles, seniors, vegetarians and those with gluten intolerances. You will find some of the products we think are fun, hard to find, or just plain wonderful on this website to purchase. We look forward to hearing from you, because we think meals are important times to share with others.
Back in January St. John's Bariatric filmed a promotional ad on site at the real Cafe. Here it is. Recognize the barrista? That's Emily!
